Shanklin has a variety of restaurants, pubs and tea rooms.
For good old-fashioned Fish & Chips head down to the Esplanade where you will find Bayside Fish & Chips. Eat in or take out – the choice is yours.
For more traditional food why not try The Fisherman’s Cottage, The Steamer or The Waterfront which are also found down on the Esplanade.
Head into Shanklin Old Village where you will find The Village Inn. We particularly enjoy a Sunday roast and would definitely recommend you give it a try. They also cater for allergies, Another place to try is The Crab Pub who do food as well as drink.
Visit here for The Shanklin Seafront website.
For a lighter lunch or maybe coffee and cake then head into Shanklin Old Village. There are various tearooms including Vernon Cottage, The Old Thatch Teashop, and Pencil Cottage. Stop and have a traditional afternoon tea – you won’t be disappointed.
Alternatively head down to the Esplanade where you will find The Nook. We recommend trying the crab sandwich.
We would also recommend trying the donuts, crepes and ice cream creations at The Donut Hut. They have 2 locations and can be found in the Old Village Shanklin as well as down on the Esplanade.
