We had a fabulous long-weekend at BayVue, with a friend. The location was wonderful – on the clifftop overlooking the sea and Shanklin Chine. The wrap-around balcony was perfect. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Prior to our arrival, Sherryn was very helpfully and communicative. The whole experience was enhanced by great weather, but even if it had rained all the time, we would still have greatly enjoyed BayVue. Definitely the place to return to.

A great apartment with lovely views. Was able to walk to the beach and to the Old Village. The apartment had everything you would need for your visit. Perfect location for a couple of days of sightseeing across the island. Would highly recommend

We stayed as a group of 6 whilst on the island for the festival. Fabulous apartment, couldn’t fault it, great location and had everything that we needed. Great hosts who were very helpful, providing discount codes for the ferry and other information.

A most up to date accommodation well worthy of consideration. We appreciated the ‘meet and greet’ by Sherryn on our arrival. Our first impressions were that this was a first class property, well appointed, clean as a whistle and conveniently located adjacent to Shanklin Chine. A viewpoint we held during the length of our stay. The patio at the lounge floor level provided ample sea views. There was a larger patio at the upstairs level. Valid and helpful  ‘house information rules’ were posted throughout the property. Cutlery, crockery glasses and mugs plentiful. Altogether a great base and place for our holiday. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

Beautiful three bedroom apartment very close to the sea. + Fantastic location + Three beautifully furnished bedrooms and 3 bathrooms + Board games and also great games for kids + Delicious coffee with freshly ground beans, coffee grinder and coffee machine, all complimentary + Complimentary milk and a well equipped kitchen with everything you need + The apartment has such nice welcoming touches including a hand written welcome card

Don’t hesitate, book now! We booked Bayview primarily for the location and seaviews and we were not disappointed, the views were amazing. The apartment was one of the best if not the best we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot over the years. There was plenty of room, more than enough storage space, it had everything you could need and more, beautifully decorated, the beds were comfy and it was spotlessly clean. It very much felt like home from home, the apartment block was very quiet and the parking was ideal as it was covered. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Sherryn was exceptional, helpful and easy to contact if we needed her. We came back fully refreshed although we wish we’d stayed longer. We will definitely be booking next year!

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and warm. The view was amazing. Sherryn was very helpful and thoughtful. She kindly gave up her parking space for our second car to assist us with the check in process as we were arriving late at night.

Stunning apartment in a great location – half way between the beach and the old town, best of both worlds. Really appreciated the help we had from the host when we were booking and needing some special arrangements and local advice about getting car repairs. We had fine weather so were able to make the best of both balconies – the views were fantastic…

My partner and his best friend stayed and they are Yorkshire men of few words. Both said they had a great time and really enjoyed themselves. We had such a lovely stay here. The apartment is gorgeous – you cannot beat the view from the wraparound balcony! The rooms are a nice size and the floor to ceiling windows are stunning. Sherryn was very responsive and helpful, a great host! Cannot recommend this place enough – in fact, we already have!

We stayed here for 10 days and felt right at home. The views were stunning, and the binoculars provided were particularly useful when watching the ships and boats passing by. Sherryn was a perfect host, always responding quickly, and even reaching out to provide clean linens and towels halfway through our stay. We would highly recommend a stay here.

A wonderful position with fabulous views of the Solent. You really don’t need a TV with views like this. I appreciated having fresh coffee beans provided and a coffee machine. The kitchen had all your needs for self-catering. A steep hill leading you into old Shanklin, but we soon got used to it. Very close to all the restaurants and shopping area. A lovely week we will return

Fabulous apartment with a fantastic view and everything provided by the host. Sherryn always kept in touch and left little instructions around the apartment. Appreciated having a lift as my parents are elderly and struggle with the stairs. Will definitely return.

We had a fantastic week in the apartment. The views are great from both balcony and roof terrace. We were met by Sherryn the owner who showed us where to park and how to access the apartment. She was very friendly and told us about upcoming events in the area. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Also very spacious for us as a family of 5. The views were amazing from both the balcony and roof terrace. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so couldn’t really take full advantage of this, however we still managed a couple of days of sunshine which was good. We were staying for a week and it was our 21st Wedding Anniversary during our stay, we were sent an ecard from Sherryn and Adrian which we though was a lovely gesture. Overall we were very happy with everything and would recommend this apartment and the hosts.

The accommodation is clean, modern and spacious. The rooms and outdoor space are very comfortable and the house is located in an idyllic spot, about a 500m walk to the quiet end of Shanklin beach. It is the perfect spot for a large family get together or a reunion with friends. We visited with four generations of our family and everybody loved it. We’d love to visit again but expect this to be a popular house, especially in the summer, so early booking recommended.

We stayed at BayVue for four nights this summer and would highly recommend it to anyone. The apartment is exactly as listed and described and is wonderfully clean, comfortable and easy to stay in. The reserved parking is a huge help, and there is nothing more calming than watching the sea from the balcony or drifting off to sleep to the sound of the waves.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment is very well furnished and clean, in a beautiful location with some fantastic views. It was a problem free experience and Sherryn and Adrian were very easy and quick to communicate with. It was a very comfortable stay for the 6 of us. There was also adequate, secure parking under cover from the sun which helped!

Stayed at the BayVue Apartment half term week. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. The apartment was very clean and modern with all you could wish for. The views from the balcony and bed in the master bedroom of the Solent are stunning. The hosts Sherryn & Adrian made the stay even more of a pleasure. Both friendly and polite. Always at the end of the phone should you need them. All in all a great stay from start to finish. We will definitely be going back. Many thanks to you both and keep up the good work.

We had a wonderful stay here with our two boys (aged 3 and 5). It felt like we were abroad! The apartment is right next to the coastal path that leads you down to Shanklin chine beach, which is beautiful – particularly at low tide where its sands stretch right out. From the apartment balcony you can see the ocean – such a calming view. The large roof terrace has a lovely view of the church behind and we very much enjoyed watching the sunset whilst sat on the comfortable rattan furniture. The hosts communicated with us brilliantly from booking all the way to our stay. The apartment was very clean – they provided us with ample bedding/towels and kitchen utensils for a comfortable stay. It is very spacious and the interior has been done tastefully with lovely photos/paintings on the walls. Works well as a civilised adult holiday space as well as a family space to stay – especially if you go with other family as the en-suites & family bathroom are handy.

Spacious, homely and well arranged apartment. Great roof terrace and a balcony with sea view. So close to a beautiful beach, walks and not far from Shanklin village. Lovely hosts, super responsive, clear instructions and easy check in and check out. Thank you and I’ll be back.

Stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful apartment. Lovely sea-views from the balconies (yes, two balconies). All very modern and in top condition. Walks along the sea-front right from near to the front door. Private parking and EV charging. Luxury living!
